PURCHASE


Ordering on Ballet Papier website couldn't be easier:

 

  • Add the items you require to your online shopping basket and when you've got everything you need continue to the checkout for payment processing.

  • Check the shipping address carefully before confirming the purchase. If you realize that you have made a mistake after ordering, please contact us immediately at sales@balletpapier.com

  • At the checkout you can either opt to pay online by PayPal account or with credit or debit card.

  • If you have a discount coupon, write it copying it exactly to the "enter a promo code" box and press "apply".

Order Changes, Cancellation & Refunds

​Please note that we work in the European Union time zone and that if we are not in business hours we may not be able to immediately make changes to your order in case you make an error. We are not responsible if the order has already entered production during that time.

  • Changes:

    • If you have made a size or product error, for any modification, contact us within a maximum of 4 hours after placing the order at sales@balletpapier.com indicating your order number, since the order then enters the manufacturing process.​

  • Cancellations & Refunds:

    • You can cancel an order at the next 4 hours after placing the order which is the secure period prior to start the production process. You can do this by contacting us and we will cancel the order and refund any payments made.

    • Possible fees may be charged by PayPal or other payment methods for refunds.

 

PAYMENTS

Payment online with Ballet Papier is safe and secure, our checkout process is secured by SSL technology.

 

  • We accept payments with: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

  • Once you pay you'll receive an email confirmation with an order number. Please make a note of this order number since you should need it to contact us regarding your order.

  • If you do not receive this email, please check in your spam mail. If you don't find it there neither please contact us, as this may mean that your payment has not transacted and may delay your order.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING

Our products are made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver them to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions! (Check our Fairtrade & Sustainability info here).

 

  • How long it takes: 

    • Order processing: within 24 to 72 hours of receipt of payment.

    • Production: between 2 to 7 business days. After production, items are sent to the customer directly from our producer's factories and warehouses from different parts of the globe (USA, Mexico, Europe, Australia, Brazil and Japan).

    • Shipping: As a general guide, you should expect to receive your goods once you get your tracking number by email within:

      • USA 3-4 business days

      • Canada 2 -10 business days

      • EU countries 2 -7 business days

      • Rest of Europe 7-12 business days

      • Australia 2-14 business days

      • Rest of the world 8-20 business days

    • Shipping delays:

      • If your order has not been delivery to your inside the estimate delivery time, please email us to sales@balletpapier.com indicating your order number or the name of the remitant used to place the order.

      • Failed delivery attempt: If there is no one at the address given to accept delivery of the goods, the carrier may place a card with indications to receive the order. We recommend to immediately contact them with your tracking number to claim the packages.

      • Unclaimed packages are re-sent to us and we won't be responsible of the re-shipping costs and the refund may be partial since the company would have to support extra fees to getting the items back. When we receive a returned shipment, an automated email notification will be sent to you. You will be liable for the cost of a reshipment Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 30 days and passed this period we can't offer you any refund or reshipping.

      • Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

    • Taxes:

      • European VAT is already payed from our part. You'll not be charged extra fees for taxes from our side.

      • Custom Taxes you may have to pay custom taxes to receive your order. These taxes don't depend on us and are subjected to each country's law.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

This is applied only to items purchased though www.balletpapier.com and not applied for products purchased in any other physical or on-line shop of our list of retailers.

Each product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order and we want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase from Ballet Papier. Each product passes through a quality control after manufacturing process but we're humans and mistakes can occur.

 

We will accept replacements or refunds for defective or mistaken items 5 days after receiving the products if the following conditions are met:

  • Defective product: we will replace it, make a refund or offer you a different item of equal value after evaluating the case:

 

  • ​Send us an email to sales@balletpapier.com indicating your order number and attaching one or more clear pictures of the defective item. Make sure to show clearly the defect on the pics.

  • The product must be unused/unworn.

  • We would take few days to evaluate your case and give you an answer.

  • Product that doesn't meet the description of the website or that isn't the one you ordered: we will replace it or make a refund after evaluating the case.

  • Send us an email to sales@balletpapier.com indicating your order number and attaching one or more clear pictures of the mistaken item.

  • If the size is wrong follow this indications to send us the pictures:

    • Lay the garment flat, avoiding wrinkles, on a smooth, flat surface.​

    • Place a measuring tape on the garment following the indications of garment measurements that appear in the product size guide (example: for t-shirts they will be: chest from armpit to armpit and the length from the shoulder to the bottom hem of the garment).

  • All items must be unworn and in their original saleable condition

  • All Items must be in their original packaging with all their tags & labels attached

  • We don't accept changes nor returns of products when the order has been correctly supplied by us so always read carefully the size chart and product descriptions and if you have doubts contact us through sales@balletpapier.com before placing the order.

FAIRTRADE & SUSTAINABILITY

FAIRTRADE: SWEATSHOP FREE

All our items are sweatshop free, which means fair-compensation for the garment workers who manufacture our products. 

Being a small company makes you depend on external suppliers and manufacturers, but when we partner with suppliers, we search for those manufacturers, as well as its subcontractors, who will comply with all applicable laws that prohibit slavery and human trafficking.

We also have a Code of Conduct for our partners that intends to set forth our standards and expectations for key areas of corporate responsibility, including a requirement that our suppliers not support forced labor or collaborate with organizations that use illegal employment practices.

ECO-FRIENDLY SUSTAINABILITY

We may be a small business but our love for the planet is big! Sustainability is very important to Ballet Papier and that's why we've selected to work with eco-friendly partners and manufacturers to ensure that we and our dear clients can make this world better together.
HOW: 

  • Producing on-demand: We only produce items we get an order for, avoiding waste from overproduction since around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage and what's more, one in every five items produced by the fashion industry reaches landfills without being worn even once.

  • High-quality printing tech: this technology almost no wastewaters and uses less energy than standard industry printers.Products with high cotton fabric content, like t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, etc. are printed with the direct-to-garment (DTG) technique, which is a printing method where ink is first sprayed directly onto the garment, and then it soaks into the fabric. It's like printing on paper, but on clothing.

    • We use Kornit printers that generate almost zero wastewater and use less energy than standard industry printers, which lowers our carbon footprint.

    • The inks we use for printing are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful chemicals.

    • We take care to properly dispose of any left-over ink according to the ink supplier guideline

  • Embroidery: Embroidery is very durable and produces less environmental waste. 

    • We embroider our products with Oeko-Tex™ certified threads, meaning they're safe for both adult and children's clothing.

  • Eco-friendly product materials: our eco-friendly product collection consists of items made of at least 70% organic or recycled materials, or a mix of these materials. In each of our product's descriptions you'll find how that particular item has been produced to be eco-friendly to the environment.

  • Vegan products: All items in our catalog are free of animal products and some of them are also PETA-Approved Vegan.

  • Product packaging: almost all apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers. The amount of PCR in the packaging will differ depending on where your order gets printed, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments. PCR packaging is made from everyday items, like used plastic bags and bottles. This stuff protects your order just as well as regular plastic bags, however, choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.
